Why did you choose to attend Grand Valley?
Grand Valley was offering me a different program: the professional science master's, which requires an internship. So, I can learn how to work in a lab, but at the same time gain the experience of working in the industry.

What do you like best about Grand Valley?
The faculty. I think they're always happy about teaching you, either about science or about life. They're really, really helpful.

How will Grand Valley help you meet your goals?
The courses that I have taken at Grand Valley helped me to prepare to work in a lab environment. Also, the faculty helped me to make the connections that I needed to find the internship here.

How has Grand Valley's faculty made a difference in your graduate experience?
The faculty is there to help you and support you. Not only with the classes, but they try to be really personal with you. So that's really nice. It's not only being a professor, but it's more like a family, as a Laker.

How has the Padnos International Center assisted you in adjusting to life in the United States?
We have an orientation week where they talk about American culture, and teach you about your Visa. They're always there to help you with any questions that you have, which is really helpful.
